Adrian Spoon family

Adrian Oliver Spoon (1904-64) was the sixth child of John Alvin Spoon and Laura Jane Smith. He was born on the family farm in
Luray, Kansas and moved to California with his family in 1920. He died in Alhambra , Calif., where he lived the last several years of his life.

	Adrian Spoon graduated from Alhambra High School in 1923 and went into the newspaper business, buying a division of the Los Angeles Times, in which he supervised a group of distributors.
	Adrian poses with his wife, the former Beulah Bryant, outside John Alvin Spoon's Alhambra house in the 1940s. Beulah died in 1973.
